Types of poker
All poker games can be divide into two major types: stud and draw. In stud, poker cards are dealt to each player, and no changing of cards is allowed. In draw poker, cards can be exchanged for new ones.
In both types of poker you can play in one of three ways: high, low, or high-low. When a poker game is played high, the highest hand wins the pot. When a poker game is low, the lowest hand wins. When playing high and low, the pot is split between the highest and lowest hand.
